FILMSKAPERE
Filmmakers is a programme with long-term focus on selected filmmakers (directors, screenwriters, producers) who get the opportunity to work over a long period of time, in a goal-oriented and flexible manner, both with ideas and development.
Through Filmmakers, the creatives have the chance to get in-depth study, through idea development and research in the early stages of a project, as well as room for a more extensive project development phase before moving into production.
Filmmakers aims at creating an environment where young talents gain insight and inspiration from more established names in the industry. Moreover, the programme bridges fiction and documentary, as a reflection of the current practices of filmmakers who work in both fields.
New and established filmmakers inspire each other through development work and dialogue.
The programme has existed since 2018. With support from SF Studios, Oslo Pictures, REinvent Studios and Talent Norge, Filmmakers have gone through it´s first phase from 2018 through 2021.
From 2022 The Tom Wilhelmsens Foundation finances Filmmakers together with Talent Norge.
